Open Town Positions

HINGHAM needs people with conservative values in elected positions. Conservative coalitions are coming together. It is a bandwagon moment. This is an opportunity for Republicans to grab hold of seats both locally, and statewide. We must unite and support each other now more than ever. We are frustrated with Massachusetts' one-party rule. We live in one of the bluest states in the nation. We complain about wokeness in our schools, absurd housing developments pushed on us, overreaching state regulations threatening home rule, how our town finances are handled and a host of other local issues.

If you love our town, please consider serving in one of the open positions:

  • Moderator (1 year term)

  • Board of Assessors (3-year term)

  • Board of Health (3-year term)

  • Select Board (3-year term)

  • Municipal Light Board (3-year term)

  • Housing Authority (5-year term)

  • School Committee (3-year term)

  • Planning Board (5-year term)

  • Recreation Commission (5-year term)

This is an opportunity for each of us to help maintain conservative values in an immediate way, right where we live, work and play. There is no reason each of us cannot make a difference in our own backyard.

Please help preserve common-sense values in our community and for your children, and future generations. To help you with this decision, the MA GOP is hosting FREE training sessions, including one in Hanover next Saturday.  If you can consider the idea of serving our beautiful town, please attend with me next Saturday!  Attending the session does not commit you to anything - just come and listen and learn.
